The new website is fantastic but not as fantastic as the time we’ve spent staying at Hitchcock House. There’s no better place to connect with your inner artist or the one you love. It’s a perfect honeymoon location too!

Love the new web site! Glad to see that more people will be able to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Monhegan from the Hitchcock House balcony. Barbara pays close attention to the details and makes sure that your experience is what you want it to be. We’ll keep coming back.

We just spent a wonderful first weekend on Monhegan Island. It all started by our good fortune in choosing to stay at the Hitchcock House. Barbara is delightful and extremely helpful (she lent me her rain coat for the day!) We stayed in the Yellow Room, which included a mini fridge and an electric tea pot – a nice surprise since they were not listed on the website. It is a quaint room – we loved it. Our friends stayed in the Lower Efficiency and were totally satisfied. We will definitely stay here again!

Wow! That deck sure looks great. Things have changed since I was there last (Dinosaurs roamed the Island then I think) and it looks just as comfortable and hospitable as ever. Best place on the Island.
